The plot is set in 1936 on the CoteD’Azur in Nice, France. coinciding with the era’s first paid worker holidays. The story revolves around a procecutpr murdered at a swanky Riviera hotel, involving four vastly different women who become entangled in the investigation.
It starts with a bang. As the episodes fall back, more & more secrets come to light. The first episode starts with the murder, then going back 20 hours traces all the characters.
At the end of the second episode, Blanche ‘s husband confesses that he is the one. His wife has been arrested earlier as being the procecutor’s lover. Her handwritten note has been recovered, burnt from the ashtray on the table.
Heah, so many things happening. A juicy mystery for a rainy day. Yummy.
