It is a n ongoing South Korean TV series . It stars Lee Yoo mi in the title role with Kim Jung eun, Kim Hae sook, Ong Seong wu, Byeon Woo seok. The series serves as a spin off to the 2017 series Strong Girl Bong -soon.
It premiered on JTBC on Oct 7, 2023 airing every Saturday Sunday.
Gang Nam soon disappears in Mangolia as a child. As a adult she travels to South Korea in search of her parents. She meets Hwang geum joo & her grandmother in the Gangnam district.
Eventually, they become entangled in a drug case that Detective Gang Hee -sik ( Ong Seong -wu ) is investigating.
The first episode is so fast. It felt like watching a movie with great stunts. Also missing the real couple Park Bo young & Park Hyung sik from the first season. They have declared to have them in a cameo. Then waiting for the same!
Her mother was convinced that the impostor is her daughter ,but her father knew he will know his daughter in a heart beat! So there.
With stopping a plane to getting someone else already in her place our heroine has many things to do. Of course with her magical strength she will conquer all.
Lee Yoo mi has bagged the Primetime Emmy award for outstanding Guest actress for her role as Ji -yeong in Squid Game. It makes her the first Korean actress to win the category. She is good.
Kim Jung eun is best known for her role in ‘Marrying the Mafia’ with ‘I am Legend’. She has hosted her own music talk show Kim Jung -eun ‘s Chocolate on SBS.

Strong Girl Bong -soon started with 3.8 % & 4.044 % but went up to 10. 261% highest at the 8th episode. It remained steady at averaging 7.64% & 8.107% throughout.
It will be interesting to see this show’s progress. What it has fight with the popularity of Bong soon has till today! Beating the Park Park couple will not be easy.
It has all the ingredients to make it a good show.
