Around the 13th episode Gu Ran realizes that he is falling for Jiang Jia. She cares for him when he gets sick Also he helps her get over her crush. She prepares to go to the concert after buying high heels.
Shen Qian Yu has looked up to her as his younger sister. But his invitation brings a secret joy for her. She has written a love letter that she gives him. But when she learns of his feelings she knows she has to let go.
She asks for the letter saying there are some typos. It is the gallant Gu Ran who is waiting for her. He also brings her some flats to wear. He knows she is not used to wearing heels.
The scene is handled so well, it brings tears to your eyes. Having feelings for someone, being secretive about it & also stealing a few glances… The Psychology teacher’s session is brought in at the right time.
Rooting for the second pair more than the leads. They are better off than the others. Su Zaizai is excellent with her English & Zhang Lu Rang is good with his Maths & Physics.
Knowing how it is going to pan out doesn’t take away the surprise. If ‘Hidden Love’ is good I feel this is better.
