The series remains romantic,enigmatic & entertaining. At the end of the eight episode, Wang Po0han has a fight with his wife,ex-wife who wants a second chance. But now, he is clear about severing the ties.
She picks up a knife from the table & asks him to ‘not leave’. He pleads with her to drop the knife. Trying to pry it out of her hands, he gets hurt. How badly? One needs to watch the next episode.
A relationship needs nurture & not a threat. If a person has moved on, so be it. Isn’t the world full of better people? By being clingy aren’t you fixated in a toxic relationship?
She has confronted An Yi chi & asked her to free him! But An has never been like that. She was so engrossed in taking care of her sick kid, she couldn’t make a move even if she wished.
Also his wife has an objection about the other lady having a kid! Even if it were two how could it matter! She was taking care of herself & the kid since before his birth (the child’s) Not informing his father of continuing the pregnancy was her decision.
In college, she did not wish to burden him. After dating for an year, he was unprepared for this situation. I simply loved her character. As against K’s mother she rises high in my eyes.
K’s mother had ten hard years to bear with his father’s illness. Later when he is in the hospital. she comes to know about K’s illness. The leukemia is going to be fatal. So she leaves for good. To live her life. Wasn’t it with her son? But then everyone has his own view & perspective.
The two mothers depicted are poles apart. Interesting. One running away from the situation, leaving her son when he needed her most & the other still in mourning after her son couldn’t make it after his heart surgery.
More than the story of K & Cream, I liked the side story more. Was I disappointed by Cream’s reappearance ? Hard to say. But I did not expect her to turn up alive. The sea did not engulf her as expected.
Now, she has the love of her life, gone forever & a husband she never loved. Quite a situation! The last two episodes will bring us a closure.
