The 6th episode ‘Determination & Thunder’ shows Miyo restrained in the Salmori storage room. Who would expected an abducted person in her own house! But such are the circumstances. Kanako & Kaya are bent on breaking her engagement with Kudo.
Miyo is adamant & refuses to do as they wish. She has lived a servant’s life, an abusive life but no more. For the first time she wishes to be with Lord Kudo. Kaya strangles her but the refusal is firm. In a shaky voice but Miyo is not going to have her way. At the cost of her life? Maybe.
Kiyoka is driving with Koji, who is impatient. He wants Kiyoka to step on it. But Kiyoka is cool, he knows rushing in is not the solution.Being impatient solves nothing. When he reaches the Salmori residence, he blows up the front gate.
Minoru & Shinichi try to stop him reaching Miyo. He reaches in time to save Miyo. Kaya has the gall to say that she is a better candidate. To which he says he would never marry an arrogant girl like her even if the heavens ordered him.
Furious Kaya refuses to leave the burning house. She tells Koji to let her die in the fire.But he refuses because her death would hurt Miyo’s heart. He refuses to let Kaya hurt Miyo ever again even by dying.
The Emperor grants Arata permission to deal with the Kudos family& with Miyo to prevent the combining ofthe Kudos & Usuba bloodlines.
Miyo wakes up with Kiyoka by her side.He assures her, nothing that happened was her fault & that he is happy that she is home & safe. Yurie also is in tears.
In her faze, Miyo has a vision of her mother asking her to shine with her power! She is confused, power? What power??
The slow, steady attachment of the leads with the ups & downs in their life makes it perfect. Awakening of her powers will give them an edge over their adversaries.
