Missing

It is a 2023 American screenlife thriller film. Written & directed by Will Merrick & Nick Johnson. It is their feature directorial debut. Story by Sev Ohanian & Aneesh Chaganty, who have produced the film with Natalie Qasabian.

Sev & Natalie are a couple. They are together with their projects ‘Run’ & ‘Searching. Now they have teamed with Aneesh again for ‘Missing’.

The film is a standalone sequel to Searching (2018). It stars Storm Reid, Joaquim de Almeida, Ken Leung, Amy Landecker, Daniel Henney & Nia Long.

It’s plot follows June Allen, a teenager who tries to find her missing mother after she disappears on vacation in Colombia with her new boyfriend.

Made on a budget of $7 million it garnered $ 48.8 million at the box office. It received positive reviews from the critics.

A geeky kid finding her way was just great. Looking at the windows open on her laptop , facetime on her mobile give us an on edge thriller. Keep on guessing till the end.
