The ongoing South Korean series is yet to release it’s final episode. But as I go through the viewership It gets interesting. The first episode shows say 4.9% the second has 7.7 % . It follows the same trend till date.
The 15th episode shows 14.67% But the 16th will end around 18% I believe. The series is a commercial hit & has become the highest rated series in Korean cable history. Only to fall short of the 20% magical figure.
Initially it did show promise. But eventually lost. Starting from a single figure getting so much love from the audience, is in itself a miracle!
Nothing earth shattering happens. Yet the story is steady & steadfast in it’s stead. So are the characters. They don’t change overnight nor do their convictions. They are there. Not to please any of us. Dr Seo remains as irritating as ever. After knowing about his mother’s loss, he remains the same. He tries to manipulate & come out of he situation the best he can!
Having lost faith, his children have a hard time facing their mother’s illness. Her mother, husband all feel they are to blame. But she knows it’s her fate.
I just hope they finish up with style & don’t let us down.
