The K drama of 2014 starring Park Seo-joon & Uhm Jung-hwa is a romantic comedy. It is based on the taiwanese drama of 2009 “My Queen”.Of the 16 episodes, the one where they meet is the most hilarious. It continues to entertain.
Fans have been watching it over & over again. She says she is 49 but doesn’t look that old. She was actually 44 but doesn’t look more than a day over 30! He says he is 25, but that 24 years difference is fictitious. Seo joon is so young.
It is better than “What is wrong with secretary Kim?”But the show came at the right time. By then whatever Seo joon touched, was a hit! The Korean wave also helped. The earlier shows are watched now & equally appreciated.
Some shows remain under rated, that is their fate. “Her private Life’ is a very good show but it cannot compete with “Healer” or “What’s wrong with Secretary Kim?” All have Park Min Young but she cannot do anything about it. She just quietly got awarded for her work with Kim Jae wook. Both walked with the best actor & actress, followed by many fans.
The dialogues are humorous. ‘I could’ve given birth to you!’ is one of the lines to die for. She pushes him away when she learns he is years younger to her. His expressions are priceless. If he has been good in the other shows, he manages to be better, somehow.
