The finale was good. The rating of 23% shows promise. The series was praised by James Melzer of Movieweb & Joel Keller of Decider.
They liked the pacing of the show. Keller observed that the first episode is slow, but this deliberate pacing allows for a deeper understanding of the protagonist’s transition from an elite agent to a mild mannered bank worker.
Domestic South Korean media also gave high praise. Star Today notedthat lead actor So Ji-sub, returning to SBS after 13 years since ‘Master’s Sun’ 2013, successfully blended a cold agent with profound fatherly love, delivering convincing eye acting & action scenes.
From the stats it rose to second position, maybe the best action drama of 2026.
The closure was good. Brands displayed is nothing new. But some found it ungainly. To each his own.
He has matured into an excellent actor !
