It is an ongoing South Koreanrevenge action thriller TV series. Written by Nam Dae joong. Directed by Lee Seung young & Lee So eun. Starring So Ji sub, Choi Dae hoon,Yoon Kyung ho, Joo Sang wook, Son Naeun.
It is based on the Naver webtoon Manager Kim’ by Jeong Jong taek & Toy.
The series follows an ordinary, hardworking father who is forced to reveal his secret identity & risk everything to rescue his missing daughter.
Released on 26 June 2026. Viwership rose from 9.5 % to 15.7% for the second episode.
It has been compared to Hollywood flicks like ‘Taken’. The story is not new, the treatment is. The level of violence used today is more than whta we are prepared for. To fight the thugs he needs to use fists or weapons but the gore is more.
The first episode ends with his daughter injured & missing. The second ends on a cliffhanger. He receives a call from her cell phone. He asks , ‘Min ju ?’ & the frame freezes.
Is she alive after losing so much blood & a head injury or is it someone else at the other end?
