The first few episodes had raised my hopes but the last few are not so entertaining. Ms Cha gets the persona of the zombie she played because she cannot be frank, herself. It leads to so many mis understandings.
Going back & forth makes it taxing. The saving grace is the second lead, the Japanese actor Hiro, the real hero. He never meddles & confesses straight. Not using the interpreter.
He is dashing & direct. Admired his courage for pursuing her when he knew someone else was in the picture.
Kim Seon ho is his usual self with restrained acting & sweet smiles. After ‘Hometown Cha Cha Cha’2021 & ‘When Life gives you Tangerines’2025, he has again bagged a good role to his credit.
Go Youn jung, coming from ‘Alchemy of Souls’2022-2023, ‘Moving’ since 2023, ‘Sweet Home’ 2020-2024, ‘Resident Playbook’ 2025, ‘We are all Trying Here’ & ‘Can this Love be Translated’ 2026. Consistent in her appearances. Alternating betwwen Cha Mu hee & Do Ra mi she has done an excellent job.
The unlikely romance betwen Choi Woo sung & Lee E dam is a surprise, it is handles so well.
Kim Won hee in the tiny role shone. His dialogues & tone helped us understand Ho jin better. As a renowned novelist he is in & out of Ho jin ‘s house at will.
Sung Joon as Ho jin’s half brother has a couple of scenes.
The trip to different places was worth it. The camera catches the beauty.
