Finally finished watching it. The last episode has all the answers. Our dynamic protagonist has a husband, Giovanni, presently. She has a daughter , Angellica, when she was 18. Stefano Lanzoni still loves her & wishes she would come back.
The final scene has her thinking about her future, pregnant again! Only now she is mature& has her father by her side.
I fail to understand how do people commit themselves in the heat of the moment. True. It takes just a moment of bliss. But reaching a point of no return…?
For nine months what was she thinking ??? If the girl would never have died, they would have continued living their own lives ?? Without being aware of each other ?? I have too many questions…..
Also now, she is more comfortable with her lawyer friend , in the end. Ruggero Barone. His character is questionable. Maybe they meet on the waterfront to vent. But it also may have seeds to season2, just maybe.
She is not sure who is the father of her child. Her husband or her friend, Stefano. She doesn ‘t want them to know about her. Weird.
Mr Monaco with his vast empire & a pampered daughter has too many secrets. Isn’t he depriving himself of pure joy? His daughter, Linda is cruel. She has injured, then killed due to jealousy. First the girl & then her own husband/ Maybe she did not herself. But got the job done. Hired help ?
Beautiful places with not so beautiful people in it.
Eight episodes are power packed & you really stop breathing.
