It is a Chinese romance medical drama TV series. Directed by Lu Ying. Starring Yang Zi & Xiao Zhan. Based on ‘Entrust the Rest of My Life to You’ by Bo Lin Shi Jiang.
Lin Zhi Xiao is a young cellist about to graduate from the university. She is hoping to make a career in playing cello. When her father is diagnosed with stomach cancer, she spends time attending her father.
Gu Wei is her father’s surgical doctor. He is very solemn & cold, but glimpses of his warm heart can be seen from time to time. As her father’s treatment goes on, she becomes close to Dr Gu. She helps him understand how to enjoy life, he helps her to focus on what she truly wants in life.
Released on March 15- 31 , 2022. Filming took place in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China.

Happy to see Zhan in a modern avtaar. As promised to myself , started watching the series which is good. But I like him more in historical series. His gait, flowing clothes all enhance his performance & gives an inimitable aura .
Yang Zi is pleasant. She has to carry the story forward. She does it well. Daisy Li as San San, is the bubbly, extrovert friend of the lead. So is Zhai Zi Lu, Dr Gu’s cousin.
It did feel like ‘Dr Slump’ but then everyone goes through a slump. He is over thinking about his surgery gone wrong. His mentor did not make it. When finally he courageously goes to his place, his wife welcomes him & says she had been waiting for him! She had seen him many times hesitating near her house.
It was his triumph over his psychological burden. He is not able to perform surgeries. His hand starts shaking.
I am yet at the fifth episode. I have to see how does the story of the second leads moves. But watching it is a breeze.
Story is good & so is the cast. Her optimism in facing obstacles is something all of us should learn.
