I chanced upon the title & binged on a few episodes straight. Found it interesting. Zhan just 33 looks his age at times. ‘The Untamed’ 2019, ‘The longest Promise 2023, his face is more lean & his gait more relaxed.
When he came to the Scholar’s gate with his wooden umbrella, immediately it reminded of ‘The Longest Promise’ poster. He is the actual poster boy & cannot look like anything else.
Watching dramas back to back, I can recognize the sets. He sets on his journey from the building seen in ‘The Double’ where the girls were kept for punishment, the Zhennu hall. Jiang Li meets the protagonist there.
