Taiki Inomata, a third tear student in junior high attends Eimei Academy, an interated school with a major sports program. Having joined the school badminton team, Taiki tries to attend open practice as early as possible. Buy no matter how early he goes, he always arrives second in the gymnasium.
The person one step ahead of him is Chinatsu Kano, a first year student in senior high & Taiki ‘s crush. She is the rising star of the basketball team & the gap between them could not have been greater.
He is a decent badminton player, his popularity is nowhere near Chinatsu’s, making it even less likely for his feelings to be reciprocated. In a strange twist of fate, she ends up living in Taiki’ s house. ( this is the third show I am watching, having the girl shifting in the boy’s house !!)
Wanting to become a worthy match for her, Taiki purses the same dream – going for the nationals- ! He starts training harder than before, all for the sake of building a strong relationship with his new housemate.

By the 12 th episode it really did feel like back to square one! I wanted more drama. Something more to happen! They keep their emotions too close to themselves. I did not want them to display or wear their feelings on the sleeve but I was a bit disappointed!
Owing to the popularity of the manga it needed a firm direction! Am I addicted to Studio Ghibli or K dramas ?? Maybe.
