26 year old Yoo Ji Yool has already beat cancer but when it comes back she deals with it differently than before. Her mom wants her to focus on treatment. She may last about six months. But Yool wants to live life on her terms.
It includes cutting off all her hair & dying it orange. ( She actually looks pretty in orange! ) She runs into her ex. He has left her for a rich girl. Now, his wife is pregnant.
In the hospital she runs into Bae Chi Hwan, a trouble maker, on his way to meet the married woman he seduced to get money.
The unlikely duo end up helping each other out and their relationship grows.
Kang Yeon Jung in lead is a cancer patient, who finds a way to be happy. Also in ‘Dr Romantic’, ‘Chocolate’, ‘Hi Bye, Mama! ‘, ‘Hospital Playlist’ all dramas with hospital backdrop.
Kim Jung Hyun as Chi Hwan. From all the comments I read, he is a favourite actor of many. ‘School 2017’, ‘Eulachacha Waikiki’, ‘Crash landing on You’, ‘Mr Queen’. He never disappoints. Here, his character is not too good. But he carries it so well.
Min Jin Woong as her ex. He normally has support roles. ‘My Father is strange’, ‘Memories of the Alhambra’, ‘Chocolate’, ‘Secret Royal Inspector & Joy’, ‘School 2021’, ‘Tomorrow’, ‘A Time called You’.
Lee Jung Eun as her mother. She specializes in such roles. Few frames & we get the drift.
Park Gyu Young as her sister. In shadows, I couldn’t even see her face.
A beautiful drama with all the right elements.
