‘I would rather that my father was dead’ Top student Ji hye wants to go on a study abroad program for English. She gets her opportunity but can’t make her passport because she is registered under her father with whom she has lost contact.
She aways complained about her family but her complaints mount with this issue. She learns to listen to her family & sympathize that they are experiencing the same things in different ways.
Her father talks to her. Says he wants all of them to live together. That he is sick. But she focuses on her exam. Coming back she sees her family at home. Her mother tells her father has passed away. All three of them cry.
Loss, sure. But everyone is affected differently!
