Around the 12th episode, the viewership rose to 6.0335% & 6.572% from the first episode which had garnered above 3%. The discussion & the expectation of the viewers rose.
We get to know the characters better. But they keep surprising us. Nothing earth shaking happens. Most of the action takes place indoors. Yet, it has a way of getting under your skin.
Park Dong hoon never wears any colorful clothes. Black or deep blue & with his bag which is again very typical. Lee Ji eun also wears the same dark colored clothes to office. She wears canvas shoes throughout.
While in a restaurant or a bar they only shed their overcoats & look the same. So do their friends. When they play soccer, they have a blue jersey with the name of their club. Normal people with their daily routine don’t have much happening in their lives.
His elder brother, Park Sang hoon having a cleaning business with his younger brother lives with their mother. His wife visits them occasionally. The younger brother Park Ki hoon is involved with an actress. Both are failures in their careers.
Park Dong hoon is doing well with a steady job. recently winning the MD position his prospects are bright. But he is worried about his cheating wife. She has realized her mistake but the faith is lost forever. Together for years, having a child, she felt a void in her life & chose a wrong path.
She is a successful lawyer. Better placed than her husband. Having her child with her sister in the US, she had spare time on her hands. Also her husband was with his brothers or enjoying a meal at his mother’s. Having been left out, she took a mis step. Unfortunately, she chose a man that her husband despises.
Lee Ji eun easily falls for him. She has never been treated so well by anybody. Her grandmother assumes that she is now free to die, her grand child has someone reliable by her side.
She is bold & smart. She knows exactly what she wants. She wishes she could grow fast. She wishes the best for her superior.
We get involved not with what is happening rather what we expect to happen. With only four more episodes to go, with the pace nothing unexpected is bound to happen but it remains to be seen how they have their closure.
