It is a 2023 Indian Hindi language mystery film. Directed by Mikhil Musale & produced by Dinesh Vijjan.It stars Nimrat Kaur, Radhika Madan, Bhagyashree & Subodh Bhave.
The film was released on 2227 October 2023. It was initially titled ‘Happy Teacher’s Day’ which was later changed to ‘Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video’.
The film is based on the story of a woman named Sajini Shinde, who is a physics teacher in one of the reputed schools of Pune. The film starts with a party in Singapore. Her friends, Shraddha & others are celebrating her birthday. Apprehensive about partying in a nightclub, her fiance , Siddhant Kadam, asks to behave like a modern woman. After a few drinks, she goes for a free wheeling dance. Videos are shot & posted online by Shraddha.
A young teacher from a small town stuck between traditional values & modern ambitions, she finds herself in a nightmarish situation. In Pune, her school & Ahmednagar, her hometown evoke strong responses.
She is sacked by the upright Principal, Kalyani, under pressure from the parents & the committee members.
The story proceeds with Sajini disappearing after writing a suicide note on her social media blaming her family& her fiance.
Inspector Barot & Inspector Ram were deputed to solve the case. It leads us to an interesting story. It questions the hypocrisy of individuals who expect women to be a perfect blend of traditional & modern values.
Nimrat Kaur in yet another excellent role. A must watch.
