After 13 episodes, we come across the lead pair getting comfortable with each other. Dylan Wang is now truly obsessed over his boss. She has her birthday & called over by her boss for work. She rejects his proposal & his gift of an expensive necklace.

After being with him she knows she cannot live in mansions & leave her cosy lifestyle. Expensive, branded clothes cannot be worn everyday.

Mr Wu’s entry in 7th episode & his immediate liking for Ms Shen is natural. By then the leads know each other well. She doesn’t have romantic feelings but he does. The age gap is nothing but a number.

I have seen ‘Something in the Rain’ where Jung Hae in is Son Ye Jin’s friend’s younger brother. But the director has handled it so well. No wonder then that the show is one of the landmarks in Korean drama.

Having feelings for an older woman is not looked upon as right! Why? She had no time for romance in her fight to assert herself. Even if she is widowed or a divorcee, how does it matter???

‘Love, Marriage & Divorce’ had 3 seasons telling the story of three close friends. Park Joo -mi, is a producer of the radio show. Divorcing her psychiatrist husband who cheated on her, falls for Bu Bae. He is their show’s engineer Ban’s younger brother.

Along with her daughter she moves in with him. Getting approval of his father & marrying him. Thinking of what people may think, should never be a concern. They never come to help when needed.

The best is ‘Secret Affair’ starring Kim Hee ae & Yoo Ah in. A woman of 40s getting intto an affair with a man in his 20s. It is a 2014 drama. Entering 2024, we are still stuck there!!

Coming back to ‘The Rational Life’, the leads have yet to sort out their feelings. Her best friend, Song Dylan is facing a crisis. In her 30s jobs are rare. Her family wants her to have kids. She has found a job as chef in a bar.

Su Yang, Dylan’s Roomie is a free lancer. He has found a job as a designer at webtoons. He has a steady interest in You Sijia. But due to money constrains he cannot be committed.

Let’s see how it pans out!
