It is a 2018 Japanese drama. Titled ‘Takane no Hana’. Directed by Kyoji Otsuka, Shunsuke kariyama & written by Shinji Nojima.
It has 10 episodes. It revolves around Momo tsukhishima, a daughter from a prestigious family involved with ikebana, art of flower arrangement. She has everything, beauty, career, also a fiance she loves deeply. After discovering that he has been unfaithful, she breaks off the engagement.
She starts losing confidence. At this point she gets to know a bicycle shop owner. Their backgrounds are completely different, but they fall in love.
The headmaster wishes her to take over. She has a step mom & a sister, Nana. Again I was reminded of ‘My Happy Marriage’ where the lead is Miyo & has a step sister, Kaya! Instead of Kiyoka Kudo, here the man is Naohito Kazama!!
The process of healing is gradual. The events just follow each other. Delicately handled.
