Episode 17 ‘Pregnancy is beautiful/ a new Rumour’ is the best by far. Her reaction at hearing that she is pregnant is unique. First, she is stunned & then drives away everyone to have some ‘me’ time.
The rejoicing around makes her more uneasy. The new female body in which the soul is entrapped feels encaged. Upon visiting the villa with the King, going out for fresh air makes her realise that situation is not so bad.
The future child will be the new ruler. Getting an opportunity to change the future ! Now, she is happy & wants to make the most of it. She asks him to hurry back. Such are the whims of a lady!
Similar situation in ‘Moon Lovers..’ and they have no contact,when she is pregnant. She is the modern girl trapped in the old times. Goryeo period. The King thinks it is the other’s child. The girl is born but stays outside the palace with her uncle. As history dictates, he has married the other lady although he loves Hae so.
Now, how does this situation pan outs remains to be seen. I am enjoying every bit of it. Getting introduced to all the characters & now going with the flow is interesting. Anticipating the future!
