Misty

A 2018 South Korean series which was a comeback for Kim Nam joo’s small screen after 6 years. She was nominated in various categories & won. Interestingly she wasn’t nominated for the couple prize! Nor was her screen husband up for any award.

The story revolves around her & ends up being her legal counsel after she becomes the prime suspect in a murder case. Her broach found near the body makes it difficult to distance her.

Kang Tae wook, her husband has prepared divorce papers but tears them himself. He comes home to see his mother accusing her of neglect. She is on her knees crying. Usually he steps in his study but he can’t let this go.

In a flash back we see him smiling & happy to be with her. She said she doesn’t love him. But wants his money & title. Coming from a poor family, making a name is of prime importance for her.

She did not want the child because it interfered with her plans to make it big in this world. The offer from the Blue house as spokesperson or secretary is lucrative. But her past suddenly comes up & she is stressed.

The star golfer, Kevin Lee was her husband for a little more than a year. But she dumped him for her present husband. Connections mean a lot to her. She is also trying to fight for her seat with a younger would-be anchorwoman.

The twists & turns in every episode makes it an interesting watch.
