Pi -young remains at the center of the proceedings. Her mother’s funeral takes place. Her husband & mother-in-law help with it. Her aunt tries to be of help. But Pi-young is unconsolable.
Her voice comes back & she takes the opportunity to make her husband take her to Ami’s place. He is reluctant. But compiles. A mi is in shock. She spills the beans & now Dr Shin is in a tight spot.
He then makes Ami to admit her mistake & say she considers him as his brother. (How lame!) But now Dong mi is enraged & will be on Pi-young’s side. She almost hits Ami but for Dr Shin’s timely interference.
Ga Bin is enjoying her time with her would be husband. But his wife is not having it so easy. She has to care for the two children & worry about her ailing friend.
Sung Hoon does not keep his word & meets Ms Song. She advises him to honour his wife. She has let it go so try & be nice to her. But he is too occupied with his soon -to -be arriving child. He even gives the funeral a miss. Considering how close his wife is to Pi -young, it was his duty. Imagine if she had refused going to his friend’s place for his mother’s funeral.
What is without a doubt the lady’s duty never is in case of the husband. He can exert his own free will, freely. Any society & the rules are binding to the females of the household. The grand parents are going gaga over the grandchild without a trace of guilt!
It all started with infidelity. Starting with Dr Cho who fathered A mi who lived in the states &is liberal. So she is in a serious relationship with a married man. He has been in love with his step mom to care for her. Going out of his way many a times. His wife is from a broken family. Her father had left her mom for another woman.
Both her friends close to her are sailing in the same boat. It is not the age , beauty or the attraction but something more that is required to maintain relationships for long. Like forever! Some say it is watering the relations exactly as you do to your plants. Watering them frequently & without fail. I am for spontaneity rather than by rote.
Preference for those who require your help today rather than those who are just needy always.. This second season I find is better than the first one. This rarely happens. But it is faster & happening than the earlier one. I liked the writing style & the controlled acting without going overboard.
