Eun ho accompanies Bong Ji hong to meet a poet. Ji hong wants to publish one of his books to fetch him some money. But the proposal is rejected by the chief. So both of them decide to treat him to dinner & talk if any of his work is worth publishing.
They reach his place to find him dead. It is a shock for Ji hong. He is very sensitive & prickly due to his recent divorce. He sits & breaks down. Eun ho consoles him.
The director, Kim Jae -min is shocked & apologizes. He had a recent earful from recently divorced wife, Seo Young -ah, of Ji hong. She had stressed that he is not a pushover,also not a bad person. She had taken divorce because it was very stressful to live with him.
I loved her for her clear opinions. How many people have this clarity?? Being in love, falling for someone is so easy but the relationship to develop & to flourish is altogether a different matter. Today how many have it in them to endure… Life never was & never will be a bed of roses ! One who dreams of roses should be ready for the hidden thorns too.
Eun ho & his prodigee, Song Hae-rin meet a best seller writer in a Chinese restaurant. Ji Seo joon also comes in to join them. She wants him to design the book cover. So Eun ho & Seo joon end up riding his car. Seo joon gives him a bag & asks him to send Dan i. He would be waiting at the gates.
Eun ho again wants to make him wait but his good nature takes over & he hands over the gift & tells her to go meet him. She is living in his house. But he has no control over who she should meet & shouldn’t. She is a living entity capable of making her own decisions. If she has feelings for Seo joon so be it. If Eun ho has feelings but she is not able to reciprocate or even acknowledge them, nothing can be done. If she keeps on looking at him as her younger brother, he cannot change that.
The stuffed toy of the green onions is so cute. The KDramas are never short of lovely stuffed toys. They are nice & relevant to the situation. Go for the quiz on the toys & it will really test if one has been attentive to the show. How well do you know your shows??
Eun ho looking out of his window at the couple standing at the gate is one of classic scenes in a KDrama. But everytime it invokes a myriad of emotions , different than earlier. The easy smile & personality of Eun ho should makes her to take it for granted. But I have not yet forgiven them for not seizing the opportunity they missed in the very beginning. Letting go at the right moment was disastrous.
Well, best luck next time. When the chance comes his way, I hope he is able to grab it!
