Lee Min Ho’s another show recommended strongly by my friend which I saw on You tube. It was worth it. The main leads are fresh & sprinkling of history gives it a distinct flavour.A seamless love story that tells about a father & daughter separated after the mother’s death.An old house with lots of memories.Lee Min Ho enters the house as a tenant & wants to study the architecture.because Son Ye Jin lives alone his assistant tells her that he is gay. It starts a series of hilarious moments.but it is handled very well.She is a furniture designer & has only one dream–that her father should appreciate her.
Wang Ji hye is the other woman who wishes to woo Lee Min ho. She is everything that Son ye isn’t. When Min Ho falls for Son Ye he is in a fix. He admits he isn’t gay ,he will be kicked out & if he continues to live in the same house with Son Ye he’s miserable.I had seen both Lee & Son Ye in another shows.Min Ho in BOF & Son Ye in Something in the rain but this combination is one of its kind. I had not imagined them together. But they nicely compliment each other. Son Ye is younger in personal taste.
Yoon Eun hye in a scene to compliment Min ho’s taste in girls.but with coffee prince she has a special place hence she is remembered.Then there is Kim Ji seok— always in a secondary role but remains with you. He was awarded the fresh face or a new comer & he lives for it till date. Here he plays a rich guy who is Son ye’s boyfriend but about to marry her best friend. with lots of twists & turns he plays a major role to help Son ye to like & reciprocate Minho’s feelings.Kim Ji seok is in “When the camillia blooms”–ex-husband of the main lead & in Another Miss Oh as the lawyer friend of the hero.
Besides Min ho its Son ye all the way. Her bunch of friends, her designs, her house,father,her nightmares,ex-boyfriend the story revolves around her. Her emotional struggle,we wish to correct it for her.She portrays her vulnerability the best.
Her facial expressions on certain occasions fleeting through are a delight to watch.Her chemistry, bonding with her co stars makes her one of the best actor we come across.Her simple knot on top of her head makes her look pretty. That style suits her. The way she moves, cries , everything is to die for. With Jung Hae in she’s in sync at every step. But that is over stepping for today. More about her next time. Enjoy!
