Dr Geetika Sen is a renowned gynaecological surgeon & head of the department at Chapelstone General Hospital in London. She & her partner Dr Meera Mishra, host a farewell party before relocating to Chester for Geetika ‘s promotion & announce plans to adopt a baby.
Soon after, Simran, head of HR , informs Geetika that an anonymous complaint of sexual misconduct has been filed against her. The allegation escalates when additional complaints surface online, damaging her reputation & jeopardizing the adoption process.

Rotten Tomatoes gave an average 5.7/10. Shubra Gupta of The Indian Express gave 1.5 /5 stars. ‘The writing offers us little depth & that’s where the film which had potential falls flat’.
Devesh Sharma of Filmfare gave 3.5 /5 stars. ‘Accused is a relationship drama. Konkona & Pratibha excel in their roles’.
The film is fab. The scene of the party is joyous. But as situation changes, the color of the set, the mood of the characters start changing.
Konkona is pitch perfect. Pratibha is no less. After ‘Laapataa Ladies’ (2024) she has got a meaty role & she has done a very good job.
They match each other, compliment well. We are left awestruck.
