When I watched Zhao Jinmai for the first time in ‘A Little Thing called First Love’ 2019, I was drawn to her more than Lai Kuan-lin. Lai won the ‘Best Newcomer’ but has moved into behind the scenes work in 2024.
Then came ‘Amidst a Snowstorm of Love’ & ‘The Princess Royal’ 2024 where she stood tall. She brought out the best in her.
“Our Generation’ 2025 had Zhang Linghe with her who had worked earlier in ‘The Princess Royal’ !
It was followed by “Shine on Me’ with Song Weilong. Healing, learning & growing together is depicted so well. I have found it very entertaining.
Being a popular artist Jinmai takes diverse roles that bring out the best in her. Wishing her all the best for the future.
