Nithiin was supposed to play the role but later it was determined that Siddhu was better suited. Deccan Chronicle revealed that Siddhu had changed his appearance, trimming his hair.

It about summarizes the film. Commenting on surrogacy was never going to be easy. But bringing in his ex girlfriend & complicating it, was un necessary.
South Indian cinema has always had solid stories & values. The solid cast falls short due to the story. The emotional impact is lost.
