From 4.5% for the first episode, it rose to 6.3% for the 4th episode. The viewership looks strong.
I had hesitation because of the title but as the story progressed it gets better. Happy to watch it.
Jeju island at it ‘s best. She travels because her sister does n’t want her to attend her wedding. The start almost felt like ‘Full House’ or even ‘Cinderella & the four knights’ where she is not admired.
Stepping out & visiting Jeju, another cliché.
Meeting a rich man. Also sharing a kiss. Like ‘You are my Destiny”. Only instead of Macau it is Jeju!!
Meeting her ex boyfriend, there. Another cliché. Both from the same school/ college. Now, he is dating one of her class mates.
Calling her names like “blanched up spinach” & then accusing her for falling for a rich guy. So typical!!
Jang Ki yong as Mr Gong is good. He started with ‘It ‘s Okay, That ‘s Love’ 2014, but his roles in ‘My Mister’ 2018, with a gray shade, ‘My Roommate is a Gumiho’2021, his looks perfect for that role!
Then came ‘The Typical Family’ 2024. Tailormade for him.
Ahn Eun jin gained recognition for her supporting role in ‘Hospital Playlist’ 2020-2021, Then came ‘The Good Bad Mother’2023 & ‘My Dearest’ 2023. She received nomination for the Best actress at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards.
The drama is worth watching .
