The performances are good but the story lets them down.
Rotten Tomatoes gave a positive review. Metacritic gave a score of 41 out of 100. Critics gave mixed or average reviews.
Courtney Howard of ‘Variety’ says ‘ Similar to it’s book to film predecessors, The Girl on the Train & The Woman in the Window’, ‘The Woman in Cabin 10’also features a gaslit woman who is forced to solve a mystery on her own after witnessing a suspicious incident.
The film is glossy & entertaining. Yet the mystery needs something more. Lat few moments are tense but the rest of the film just passes by.
As some say ‘drifting between good & forgettable’.
I expected more.
