It is an Indian Marathi language epic historical drama film. Directed by actress Snehal Pravin Tarde. The film stars Prajakta Mali in the title role with Gashmeer Mahajani.
It is based on Babasaheb Purandare ‘s novel ‘Phulwanti’. The film is set in the Peshwa era & narrates the story of a dancer Phulwanti & the renowned Peshwa pandit scholar Venkat Shastri.
Released on 11 October 2024. It opened to positive reviews from critics & audience.
Made on a budget of Rs 4.5 crores, it garnered Rs 7.5 crores.

Snehal Tarde won the Best director award at City Cine awards in 2024. At Zee Chitra Gaurav Puraskar in 2025, The most natural performance of the year was won by Prajakta Mali, along with Best actor & actress by the leads. Several other awards were won.
A commercial success the film became the eighth highest grosser Marathi film of 2024.
The competition & the result were not very far fetched . But the end was. It has been handled so well.
I especially liked her bond with Mastani. Her respect for the elite princess, a great dancer. Those scenes are too good.
