It is a 2025 South Korean action thriller film. Co-written & directed by Lee Tae sung. In his feature debut on Netflix. Starring Im Si-wan, Park Gyu young. Co -written by Byun Sung hyun, it is a spin-off , set in the same hired killer universe of the 2023 film ‘Kill Boksoon’.
Mantis, a top assassin , comes back from vacation to find the hitman world in chaos. As he joins in, he runs into Jae yi, a former training partner & rival. He meets with Dok go, a famous retired killer, also his mentor.
He soon realizes they ‘re all competing to become the number one assassin.
Released on 26 September 2025 on Netflix.
It is fast, pacey & emotional.
I know both the actors well. Have seen them many times yet they never cease to surprise. Both go for softer roles. With blades & weapons , lot of blood shed, it was well, a surprise.
If I dare say better than ‘Kill Bok soon’!!
Do I hate women fighting? Maybe. Too old fashioned . Yes.
