Inspired by true-to- life struggle for love, belonging & healing. The film follows a soul stirring journey of a mother & daughter as they navigate trauma, betrayal & hope. It unveils the silent battles fought behind closed doors & the powerful maternal bond that endures against all odds.
The mother has survived an abusive marriage. She has shielded her daughter then & now single handedly runs their home. She disapproves of the boyfriend but is okay till the daughter rejects him.
The mother wants her to marry so that she can have a child of her own. Another ‘Amrita’ or even an ‘Amit’. The story ends with Amrita giving her new born the name ‘Amit’!
In 20 minutes it grips you hard & you keep your eyes peeled for every scene. An eye opener.
