A physical education teacher navigates the brutal aftermath of a sexual attack, as she grapples with her husband’s indifference & a thirst for revenge.
It marks the return of Amala Paul to Malayalam cinema after 5 years. It also marks the second directorial of Vivek after Athiran.

As we grapple with her situation we feel helplessness. A teacher trying to do her best & suddenly falls victim to the energetic sports people. They drug her & harm her.
A reckless action that changes her life. Her pregnancy further worsens the situation. Her husband first reaction is heartless. So when she says ‘when I required your support you were not there’ is true.
Her mother & sister are supportive so is her mother -in -law. She has herself gone through a lot & as a woman understands her. She slaps her son & says ‘I don’t believe I gave birth to you’!
The pace is fast & we arrive at the end. Could have been better but still a very good attempt. They spared us of all the details. The hints were there.
