The Times of India gave 3 & a half star. Saying the director punches well above his weight, delivering a film that is both deeply moving & socially relevant.
OTTplay has also given it a 3 & a half. Swaroop Kodur says the film comes together because of strong performances & staging.
‘Court’ in 2014 was directed by Chaitanya Tamhane. It focused on Indian legal system & the trial of an aging activist. It went on to win 17 awards & 9 nominations.
Both the films deal with the court in their own unique styles, both remain with you for different reasons.
