Rated at 8.6. As the reviews say it is a beautifully crafted drama. Every episode is enjoyable. The pace is a bit slow that is suitable for a political drama. Some sweet moments here & there, Personally, I would have loved to have more of them.
Xiao Zhan is all brains. So good looking you hardly take your eyes off him. His acting is also top notch. Every stare & smile is so well crafted. When he us thinking he moves his eyes, which only is like him. Nobody can imitate.
Master Gao Ming. He has groomed Hai from childhood. I wish I had a master like him. He is the fall back for every turn. He follows him to the capital to get his revenge. Now, his student is a mature adult. He cooks him healthy dishes!
Xiang An tu is a strong woman. He had a taste of her skills & anger in childhood. She is the owner of Zhen Tower. Also the Princess of Dongxia. He never gets overwhelmed by her nor does she by his achievements.
Their romance is balanced & healthy. Helping each other through thick & thin. He has two main enemies. But when both die, he knows of the third hidden one. Gradually the needle points towards his benefactor!
Only three episodes to go. Entertaining.
