‘Mijiui seoul’ It is an ongoing South Korean TV series. It’s coming of age, romance genre. Written by Lee Kang. Directed by Park Shin woo. Starring Park Bo young, Park Jin -young, Ryu Kyung-soo.
The series focuses on Yoo Mi ji & Yoo Mi -rae, identical twin sisters of opposite personalities, who swap their lives for some reason & live entirely different lives through a lie.
It premiered on 24 May 2025.
Park Shin woo has directed ‘Don’t Dare to Dream’, ‘It’s okay to Not be okay’2020 & “Lovestruck in the City”2020-2021. Lee Kang of ‘Youth Of May’2021 is writing the drama.
Lee Kang shared ‘people who look fine on the outside but are already wavering & exhausted inside’. Mi-rae has good education & a stable job. Mi ji is always the twin who lives in her sister’s shadow.
Imagining how nice it would be if a person who looks exactly like her could replace her. At the same time wondering if her twins’ s life would be more peaceful than hers , Lee Kang decided to write about two twin sisters swapping lives.
The viewership rose to 5% by the second episode from 3.6 % of first episode. But for the third episode it dropped a bit to 4.5 % for the third episode.
From the golden haired Bo young to it’s title I was curious about the drama. When I started watching it, it ‘s pace got to me & watching Jin Young again !
