During her senior year at the Univ. of Texas, Natalie is with her friend Gabe. A few weeks later, on the night of their graduation, she feels sick & her best friend Cara gets her pregnancy tests.
When Natalie takes them, her life diverges into two parallel realities based on the result. The film shows both stories at the same time.
Released on 17 August, 2022. Principal photography took place in Austin, Texas. Filming took place in LA, California. Re shoots of the film were shot in Vancouver Public library, Pacific Coffee Roasters & the Acquafarina restaurant in downtown Vancouver British Columbia.
Rotten Tomatoes gave it 5.9/10. Reviews are positive. The film by not nudging the audience towards one particular perspective , remains true to its own mission statement, i.e. getting people to Look Both Ways, writes Reubyn Coutinho of Netflix Junkie.
True. But we are out of practice here. We like our story told, so it gets a bit confusing sometimes! A baby suddenly changing life plans or a career as planned?!
Now, that is anybody’s guess!
