Completing the tasks from a list that she wrote down at the age of 13. I found it amusing. But as sets to complete the task & get a DVD of her mother on completion ! Her mother is an angel, she knows her daughter best.
‘Teaching is her passion’ but she quits her job. When she sets to complete her task, she realises she is happy when teaching. The shelter children mock her , dis obey her but then that is the task!! To Teach !!!
When the boy drops the books in the rains which she had given, you would blow & fuse , spank the kid but she just looks on. Another failure.
In the school she meets the counsellor, Garrett, the attraction is mutual. She is comfortable talking with him. Slowly romance blooms.
The young lawyer, Brad is patient & she starts opening up to him. He becomes her good friend. He has a gorgeous girlfriend, Nina. She comes visiting. She leaves soon.
Alex has four questions to find if it is true love. 1 If she can fully open her heart. 2 Is he kind? 3. If he is able to bring out the best in her 4 Can she imagine him to be the father of her future children.
She discovers her real biological father , a musician, Johnny Alvarez, with whom her mother had an affair. After meeting him she gets together with her dad. Now, she knows what he went through.
When her brothers ask for watching the DVDs she realises they had always envied the bond between her & her mother.
The cherry on the cake is when she knows Brad has been in love with her since this past year!
The nuggets the film throws at you are invaluable. Don’t go by the ratings. It is a wonderful experience. For Alex & for us !!!
