Ko Gyeom is a passionate film enthusiast. He dreams of watching every movie ever made. ( I felt so close, could relate to him, immediately.)
He aspires to become an actor. But gets only supporting roles.
Kim Mu-bee is an aspiring film director. She has a complicated past. She wants to make her mark in the industry. The two share a connection from the past, but a mysterious incident led them apart.
Looking at her reminds me of Hindi movie ‘I hate love stories’, she is the assistant director & he is helping with the sets. But Sonam is smitten, Khan hates love stories ( ?) & here, the boy is.
After the second episode he disappears. Following her everywhere & making people happy around him, he suddenly disappears when we think they have a budding romance!
8 episodes more. He moves next door to her, years later. Is it ‘Love Next Door ‘ with a different cast ???
Choi Woo shik excels in second lead, but somehow he falls short as the main lead. I had started his ‘Our Beloved Summer ‘ but couldn’t complete.
Also Bo young has never been as good as her ‘Bong soon’!! I am hung up on her drama. I love the leads & cannot see them apart. Now I said it.
Delighted to watch Kim Jae wook, any time. As Ko Jun’s elder brother he has only a supporting role. Yet he’s good.
As in the name , it is mellow.
