It is a South Korean TV series. Written by Im Seo ra. Directed by Oh Sang won. It stars Jung Yoo min, Sung Hoon, Jin Ji hee, Kang Shin hyo, Oh Seung yoon.
It is based on a web novel of the same name by Lee Beom -bae , which was also made into a webtoon.
In 2023, Han Yi-joo is the naive adopted eldest daughter of a rich family. Despite their cold & uncaring behaviour towards her, she works hard for her family’s love & approval. ( here, the storyline matches with ‘When the phone rings! )
Especially her mother, for whom she makes imitations of famous paintings as a hobby. One day, she discovers that Lee Jung hye has not only been defrauding clients by selling the imitations but has also framed her for the crime.
This auction scene is straight from many dramas. Like ‘Her Private Life’ or ‘Dali and the Cocky Prince’! Later she finds out that her husband , Yoo Se-hyuk has feelings for her younger sister & he has filed for divorce.
She gets into a serious car accident. She survives but is murdered by Jung hye’ s assistant in her hospital bed. Then she wakes up in 2022, one year before her accident., when she is still engaged.
Now. the plot is like ‘Marry My Husband ‘2024. Her best friend & husband have an affair & is murdered by them. She goes back in time to change her future & seeks revenge. It had better viewership than this show. It was around 9.125 %.
The viewership for the 11th episode went up to 2.943% . Generally it hovered around 2.074 % only.
Sung Hoon from ‘Oh My Venus’ 2015, ‘My Secret Romance ‘ 2017. In ‘Love ft. Marriage & Divorce ‘ he was Pan Sa hyun in Season 1 &2. In 2023 he took up ‘Perfect Marriage revenge as Seo Do guk & left the Season 3.
Kang Shin hyo as Seo Jong wook, brother of Do guk here, took over as Pan Sa hyeon in 2022 for ‘Love ft. Marriage & Divorce , season 3.
Pan Sa hyeon’s love interest Song Won was played by Lee Min young. She is Yi joo’s step mother, here.
When I watched the cast, it was as if a spin- off for Love ft. Marriage & Divorce! Many actors are seen in different roles.
When Yi joo starts her revenge & gets Do guk as her partner, things are beginning to look up!
