The Witch (2025)

It is an ongoing South Korean TV series. Written by Jo Yoo jin. Directed by Kim Tae gyun. It stars Park Jin -young, Roh Jeoung -eui. It is based on the webtoon of the same name by Kang Full.

The story of a young woman with a mysterious & dangerous secret. She is called ‘a witch’ by some. A young man who went to school with her years before tries to find out why.

But he must be careful as he gathers the information quietly. In addition to the danger factor, he must guard his heart as feelings he had for her long ago resurface.

The viewership till the 8th episode aired, it is at just over 3.073%. In the third & the fourth episode many scenes are repeated. It could have been avoided. When the scenes are related from another person’s view the camera is pointed at the situation from a different angle but after just two episodes we don’t forget.

Also binging makes us expert at the up coming scene. So, the same scene is boring. After trying aa new angle on a social menace, it required tight editing.

He is trying his best to dispel the rumors of her being a witch, statistically. I like this mathematical angle.

In remote villages, an outcast or stoning believing her to be a ‘witch’, even burning… all so inhumane.

I was merely browsing & then got hooked. She is an outcast & now living on a rooftop, quietly. The gossiping ladies right from ‘My Husband Oh Jak Doo’ very irritating. ‘When the Camelia Blooms’ supportive, ‘Welcome to Sam dal ri’ competitive & caring.

I am giving special attention to these group of ladies, ‘Our Blues’ or ‘A Virtuous Business’ they have a nice role. ‘Romance in the house’ has dashing Ji Jin hee with a group of people around Family Villa.

I like the way it is unfolding. Holding one individual for the accidents around is so unfortunate. Blaming someone else is so easy.

Looking forward to how he solves it.
