After the runaway success of their film score in ‘Sairaat’, a Marathi film, their music is loud on stage. Yesterday in front of Sadaguru on the eve of Mahashivratri, it was the regional spectre.
The team on stage brought their known magic but the noise was not what I expected! Maybe the dieties also more known to the crowds matter.
Shankar Mahadeven also brought in a filmy number. Then the audience stood & started dancing.
Mamaji always marked that we have very little music that all can join. Aartis after puja , Bhajans , chanting & our national anthem. But we can very rarely join enmass & sing a song!
While travelling & waiting for a train or bus to arrive, One started a song, just a tune & all joined voluntarily. The station then vibrated with the song!!
It rarely happens here.
At Isha Foundation, the music was for lakhs but known tunes only made an impact! The Shiv stotra is difficult, not everyone knows . So the scores known only found the audience tapping their feet or joining the steps.
Right from the advertisements I had been following the event & knew I had to be a part of it. One of my friends was kind to share the link & I watched till my eyes closed.
Today the You Tube version is available so the live action can be appreciated. The grand show in presence of the eminent personalities was huge. The picture does not do justice enough.
