Like ‘Wedding Crashers’ I felt the premise is novel. Barring a few cliché, it is good. The mother Lily is superb. She holds the story together.
The locales of Mauritius are picturesque & the drama just appropriate.
Reminds of ‘Queen’ 2013 Indian Hindi language movie. She gets dumped after her fiance leaves her just before the wedding. She decides to go on their honeymoon alone & gets pulled out of her comfort zone & rediscovers herself.
