After the tenth episode the viewership is 10.9%, a bit down from earlier 11.8%. It may not be the show exclusively but viewers may go for other options.
Hope I am not rationalizing here. May be a little. I found so many points that deserve a mention.
First, she is unable to accept that her father saved Eun ho. Or rather how did it happen? He is okay with her reaction. He asks her to take some time to process the information.
Before leaving he leaves a chit saying, ‘I am waiting. Take your time.’ Silently being with her or beside her is what he plans to do. He accepts that she does n’t talk or look at his face.
But finally, she comes out of her resentment. She helps Byeol to dress up like a princess & knows somethings are ‘girlie’. Fathers don’t understand.
She watches how happy Byeol is with her dad & how she apologizes. She had said, ‘I hate you’ but she is gracious enough to talk to him first & say ‘I missed you’.
Ji yun takes the cue & visits her father. After so many years. She has been left alone for years but he has saved Eun ho! She knows he has grown into a great person .In ‘Shakti’ , a Hindi film, the son carries his grudge for his father till the very end.
I have always thought that as he grows can’t he imagine himself in his father’s shoes & think once. Without clouding his judgement???
The second is the rivalry between the two hiring firms. The CEO of Career Way is already at no.1, what does she fear? Failure or getting outshined?? She resorts to unfair means but finally ‘Peoplez’ manages to find the right CEO for the firm NEXT.
Third track is of the single mother. Her mother pushes her to reveal the truth to the child. She also shows him a video of his parents. He is so cute. He asks, ‘Do I have two moms?’ We frit over small issues & don’t give credit to the intellect of the person we are dealing with.
Fourth is the easy companion ship with her friend. Both her husband, the book store person & Eun ho’s senior with Ji yun’s friend Seo Mi ae are happy that Ji yun is finally happy with Eun ho.
Looking at the photos of the show I came across the other photo of ‘When the phone rings’ & the caption that ‘Middle-aged romance hits different’! So true. Life is at a stage when a person is looking for a steady relationship & not a fling.
