It is based on a webtoon of the same Korean title, which was launched through KakaoPage on August 14, 2023.
It revolves around Jo Yeo hwa, a widow who is the daughter -in-law of the most prestigious noble family in Joseon. She lives the quiet reclusive life of a noble widow at home during the day, but sneaks out of their house at night to help people in need.
A widow of fifteen years who meets the new military officer in town. Leaving Jeolla province he is back in Hangyan. Her mother-in-law, Kim Mi kyung is strict & wants her daughter-in law to be ideal.
The first episode was viewed by 7.7% in Seoul & 7.9% Nationwide. The 12th & final episode stood at 18.1% in Seoul & 18.4% Nationwide. It achieved a new record of being number one of any Fri=Sat dramas in MBC history.
Lee Hanee was crowned with ‘Miss Korea’2006 & representing her country in 2007 at Miss Universe. Her recent ‘One the Woman’ 2021 was also well received. After the success of ‘Knight Flower’ in 2024, she came back with ‘The Fiery Priest 2’. It is a sequel to her 2019 show.
