It is a Japanese light novel series. Written by Akumi Agitogi. Illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka. The Anime TV series was released on July 5, 2023. After the 12th episode was aired, a second season was announced.
It premiered on 6 January 2025.
In episode 13′ The Shape of My Happiness’ has Miyo attending a party with Kiyoka. Hazuki introduces her to her son Asahi, who seemingly dislikes Miyo.
Later she meets Prince Takaihito, who explains that his father, the Emperor was involved in the incidents between Saimoris & the Usubas. He apologizes to Miyo. She tells him she is happy with Kiyoka.
Miyo bumps into Asahi, who spills the drink on her. He confesses that he is jealous of Miyo because she spends so much time with his mother. Hazuki assures him that she loves him. He then apologizes to Miyo.
Arata comes to visit Kiyoka & Miyoto make a proposal of becoming Miyo’s bodyguard. Kiyoka leaves for work & Miyo watches him , hoping for their happiness.
Season 2 , episode 1 ‘Another Kudo Residence’ has Kiyoka’ s father coming to the capital & inviting them to his place. Kiyoka ‘s mother has scalding words for Miyo. Kiyoka gets upset but Miyo pleads with him. She wants to win her over.
Over the episodes we see Kiyoka softening & his behaviour with Miyo is unique. Nobody has seen him this charming.
I did try to watch the film, but the Miyo in the anime version is too good. I simply love the Anime version. Looking forward to the next episode.
