The film is about a young American seamstress from Philadelphia whose boyfriend reveals himself to be a royal prince & heir to the throne of Cordinia, He brings her to his country intending to marry her, to the consternation of the Queen.
It was released on 21 November, 2014. It was filmed on location around Sighisoara, Romania.
In her review for The Hollywood Reporter , Allison Keene gave the film a positive review & found the cast- especially Lacey Chabert & Jane Seymour – all natural & likable. She concluded that the film is ‘one part Cinderella, two parts The Princess Diaries, a dash of Wills & Kate, and a pinch of ‘win a trip to Downton Abbey’

Chabert has appeared in more than 30 Hallmark Channel films. No wonder then I was thinking where else I have seen her.
Jane Seymour as the Queen here is strict, stern & serious. In ‘The Irish Wish’ as Rosemary Kelly, Maddie’s mother, she is a hoot.
