Max & Vickie briefly meet on a train platform before Vicky leaves town. Trying to find her, Max posts a missed connection in the newspapers, but Vickie never responds. Five years later, they meet again when Max is hired as a photographer for Vickie’s wedding.
Max recognizes Vickie but she doesn’t recognize him. Vickie’s fiance is late in arriving at the resort, so Max helps with the wedding preparations. As Max & Vickie spend more time together , they form a connection. Max tries to get Vickie see that they are meant to be together before it is too late.
I almost had me remind of ‘The Irish Wish’ because of the destination wedding & also ‘Mother of the Bride’ where they went to Phuket.
The groom who arrived late & expected her to be fine, was a let down. He completely contrasted with the enthusiastic photographer. Her five year plan be damned. Life doesn’t work with plans, dear.
Max rehearsing in front of the mirror was cute. ‘I Object. This wedding cannot happen.’ Of course he could have saved his efforts.
